History of the Institute

Industrial Training Institute, Khumulwng is a training institute which provide training in technical field in various trades and constituted under Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship(MoSDE), Government of India and it is now under govt.of Tripura.

Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment with opportunities for each student to develop the technical skills & knowledge to become a social, responsible and successful citizen of India.

Objective of the Institute

1.To provide vocational training ITI students, existing workers and dropouts to improve their employability

2.To improve the quality and quantity of industrial production by systematic training of workers..

3.To reduce the unemployment among the educated youths and equipping them for suitable industrial employments.

4.To provide job training in their establishment.
